The government has also created a website to know how many SIMs are working on your Aadhaar number. DoT has recently launched a Telecom Analytics website for fraud prevention and consumer protection. From this website, users can see all the phone numbers linked to their Aadhaar number.

According to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, a maximum of 18 SIM cards can be obtained from one Aadhaar card. Earlier there was a rule of giving 9 SIM cards to one Aadhaar number. Later it was upgraded to 18. In such a case, it should be ensured that no other person from your Aadhaar is using the SIM card.
