Delhi Ladli Yojana 2023

A financial assistance program is provided by the Delhi government to economically weaker BPL families in order to pay for the maintenance and education costs for their daughters who are born to them. As part of the Delhi Ladli Yojana, the SBI Life Insurance Company Limited (SBIL) provided financial assistance. As part of the implementation of this scheme, the Delhi Government’s Women and Child Development Department has been given responsibility. This scheme will benefit all the families in the state that are under the poverty line by providing them with the necessary assistance.

It is important to note that Delhi Ladli Yojana is only applicable to 2 daughters born into BPL families. Those girls who are born into BPL families within one year of their birth and within 90 days of registering for class I in any Delhi government-recognized school within the first 90 days of their admission will be eligible to benefit from the scheme. It is mandatory for them to register.

The Ministry of Women and Child Development will provide a unique ID number to each girl after registration. In order to receive funding from the government in this account, a zero balance account will need to be opened in SBI Bank on the basis of the unique ID number provided to the girl. This account will receive funds in a phased manner according to the scheme, and will be funded by the government.

Financial Assistance Provided Under Delhi Ladli Yojana

Delhi Ladli Yojana is a financial assistance program that provides financial assistance to poor women and children in different phases over a period of time:

• Immediately after birth in a government hospital, the first phase of the program consists of 11,000 dollars for the girl child and 10,000 dollars if she is born at home. These funds are deposited in the bank account of the girl child.
• On acceptance into a Delhi Government recognized school, the second phase consists of a deposit of 5000 in the bank account of the student upon admission into class
• As for the third stage of the process, the government provides an amount of Rs.5000 to the girl child even after she has taken admission into class
• The fourth step is to deposit Rs 5000 in the bank account of the girl child as soon as she is admitted into class
• Class 12th students are also entitled to receive a 5000 rupee grant as part of the fifth stage.

Ladli Yojana Delhi Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must meet the following eligibility requirements in order to be eligible for the Ladli Yojana Delhi.

• A Delhi resident is required to apply for the post and it is  requirement that he or she be a Delhi resident.
• An applicant’s family’s income shouldn’t exceed Rs 1 lakh per year in order to be considered.
• A girl must be admitted to a school that has been recognized by the Delhi Government before she is admitted to the school.

Document Requirements for Delhi Ladli Yojna

The applicant must submit the following requirements documents with the application form in order to apply for the Delhi Ladli Yojana by attaching them to the application form.

• (Aadhar Card) is a unique card that identifies an individual.
• Card for rationing (Card for rationing).
• The income certificate (the income certificate) is proof of income.
• Document proving residency in the country.

Procedure to apply for Delhi Ladli Yojana 2023
